Kingsbury appoints Sales Manager
Steve Williams has been appointed Sales Manager for Eastern England, central and south, from Leicestershire down to the Kent coast, by Kingsbury, the UK and Ireland agent for several brands of top quality, German-built machine tools.
In his new position, Steve will primarily be responsible for sales of Index and Traub lathes and Hermle machining centres, although sales of the company’s large prismatic machines (LPM) programme will also be within his remit.
After completing an engineering apprenticeship at what was then British Aerospace Army Weapons Division, Stevenage, which led to an HND in electrical and mechanical engineering, Steve became a service engineer with the company.
He was subsequently a field service engineer at a number of machine tool companies that sold machining centres, turning centres and sheet metalworking machines. He moved into machine tool sales in the mid-1990s and so brings 20 years of directly relevant experience to his new post at Kingsbury.
Based in Milton Keynes, Steve is married with three children, plays golf and is a season ticket holder at MK Dons.
