Multigrind® CB
The Multigrind® CB is the flagship of our grinding centers. The CB is the largest and fastest grinding machine we have ever built, and the first one that received the Red Dot Award for product design. At the center of the CB’s sophisticated design is the cube-shaped mineral composite base, which gives the machine its stability and rigidity.

Insights into the Multigrind CB
- All workpieces that aren’t round or flat can be machined on a Multigrind® CB.
- All industries that need to manufacture extremely high-precision parts with complex shapes value the Multigrind® CB as a reliable and economical grinding center.
- All industries that need to manufacture extremely high-precision parts with complex shapes value the Multigrind® CB as a reliable and economical grinding center.
- The axis travel range is remarkable – optionally up to 1,200 mm along the X-axis, 410 mm along the Y-axis, and 500 mm along the Z-axis.
- Large aero-engine turbine blades can be machined just as easily as huge hob cutters needed to manufacture the windlass on ships.
- The top of the Multigrind® CB can be opened with a flick of the wrist, allowing parts to be loaded from above with a crane.

A Multigrind CB will greatly extend the AMRC with Boeing’s grinding capabilities
It is likely to be of interest not only to aerospace companies for producing turbine engine components, but also to gearbox manufacturers and medical companies looking to introduce new techniques for grinding prosthetics.
